Dr. Kelly Van Cleave is a South Texas native, growing up in Victoria, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2012. Dr. Van Cleave continued her education at the University of Houston College of Optometry where she graduated with honors in 2016 as a licensed therapeutic optometrist and certified glaucoma specialist. During her optometric training, she completed clinical rotations with a focus on ocular disease and contact lenses throughout San Antonio, Texas, including time spent at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. She is a current member of the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the Brazos Valley Optometric Society.
During her free time, Dr. Van Cleave enjoys spending time with friends and family and attending as many Aggie sporting events as possible. She is excited to be back in the Bryan/College Station area and provide eye care to the community.
